LIVE ALL ASPECTS IN LIFE TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITIES.
Occupational therapy is all about functioning to the best of your ability in all aspects of your life, no matter what life throws your way.
Occupational therapists look at the person as a whole, the physical, the cognitive and the emotional functioning. When a person is having difficulty in any area of their lives whether that be self-help, productivity or leisure pursuits an occupational therapist will help them get back on track.
Self-care - getting dressed, eating, moving around the house.
Being productive - going to work or school, participating in the community.
Leisure activities - sports, gardening, social activities.
